Abstract

The era of globalization can lead to changes in the lifestyle of a more modern society. As a result, Teenagers especially gen z tend to choose a new culture that is considered more practical than the local culture. One of the factors that causes local culture to be forgotten today is the influence of the influx of various Korean cultural products ranging from film dramas, songs, fashion, lifestyle, industrial products that have begun to color the lives of people in parts of the world. Korean culture developed so rapidly and expanded and was accepted by the public to produce a korean wave demand phenomenon. Korean culture and lifestyle (Hallyu or korean wave) has become a popular culture that has spread to various countries including Indonesia. Lately, Korean culture or K-Pop has become endemic to teenagers in Indonesia. This study aims to see how the influence of K-pop cultural trends in Generation Z.
